4slicesthick cooked baconchopped
6tbspunsalted buttersoftened
1/3cupblue cheesesoftened
Salt and pepper to taste
2lbs.ground chuckdivided into 12 patties

Instructions
Add bacon, butter, blue cheese, salt, and pepper to a medium sized bowl and mix until incorporated. Add butter to a piece of plastic wrap and form into the shape of a log. Freeze for one hour.
Season the 12 patties with salt and pepper. Remove butter from freezer and slice into 6 even pieces.
Take two hamburger patties, and place one slice of blue cheese butter in the center of the hamburger and top with the other hamburger patty. Seal the edges of the hamburger with your fingers so that the butter doesn’t run out while cooking. Cook until the desired doneness.
Top burger with lettuce, tomato, and condiments of choice.
